Due to financial constraints, Wizkid would visit various studios, waiting in hopes that engineers or producers might let him record a quick session out of goodwill.
Banky W described Wizkid as a “studio rat,” underscoring his commitment by recounting how the young artist would constantly work on hooks and melodies. Wizkid’s persistence led to his development into a prolific songwriter, quickly creating melodies and lyrics that would go on to captivate global audiences. Banky W added that Wizkid’s rapid creative process earned him the moniker “Wiz,” a nod to his swift songwriting talent.
