Ronke Odusanya’s recent revelations provide insight into the challenges she faced during her marriage with Saheed Olarewaju, also known as Jago. According to Ronke, a friend falsely accused her of planning to leave her marriage for a life of prostitution, alleging she was romantically involved with a senator and even took their daughter, Fife, to stay with him. These rumors evidently fueled misunderstandings that contributed to the collapse of their relationship.

Ronke recounted that her financial situation was dire at the time her marriage ended, with many of her belongings, including jewelry, taken away. She had less than N10,000 in her account and struggled to secure accommodation. Despite the adversity, she maintained her integrity, sharing that she even provided her husband with proof to counter the accusations, showing a recorded video with time and date stamps.

Ronke further explained that Jago later regretted believing the misinformation from her friend. This experience highlights the impact that trust and external influences can have on a relationship, especially when compounded by financial difficulties.

Ronke said, “When it happened that time and degenerated, my partner later realized that he shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard back then.

A friend of mine told him that I wanted to leave him and go into prostitution. That when I left that night, I went to sleep in a Senator’s house with Fife. When he told me, my mouth was left open. Then I sent him a picture; God gave me grace; I didn’t know how I did it. I did a recording of the time and the date, were on my phone for the video. I recorded it when we got to where we would sleep. When we left, I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. I had nothing; all my jewelry was taken away, and I fainted with that. I was wondering where to start from. I cried so much that day because I didn’t have money to get an accommodation.”
