- Ministry of Regional Development: The Ministry of Niger Delta Development has been renamed to cover all Regional Development Commissions, including those in the South East, North East, and North West.
- National Sports Commission: The Ministry of Sports Development is being dissolved, with its functions transferred to the National Sports Commission, a step aimed at developing a robust sports economy.
- New Federal Ministry: The Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Arts and Culture have merged to form the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy.
- Ministerial Reassignments: Ten ministers were reassigned to new portfolios, such as Dr. Morufu Olatunji Alausa moving from Health to Education and Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim becoming the Minister of Women Affairs.
- Discharge of Ministers: Five ministers, including Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye and Prof. Tahir Mamman, have been discharged.
- New Ministerial Appointments: Seven new ministers, including Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, have been nominated for Senate confirmation.
- Special Appointments: Shehu Dikko has been appointed Chairman of the National Sports Commission, and Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation.
