The recent appointment of Mrs. Helen Eno Obareki as the Acting First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, following the passing of her mother, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, has received a lot of attention and support. Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, praised this decision during her condolence visit to the Eno family in Uyo, describing it as a meaningful way to honor the late Pastor Patience’s legacy.
Pastor Patience Umo Eno was not only a source of support to her husband, Governor Umo Eno, but also an active figure in charitable activities, notably through her initiative, the Golden Initiative For All (GIFA). In her new role, Helen Eno Obareki will continue these efforts, ensuring that her mother’s philanthropic projects live on.
Senator Tinubu emphasized the importance of carrying on Pastor Patience’s work and expressed her belief in Helen’s capability to take on the responsibilities.
